The Spaces Between Words is a 500-piece series the artist describes as mono-mixed-media or post-collage: images that carry the layered, cut-and-assembled feel of collage and mixed media while being produced through a single AI medium. Its subject is interior life, the memory, emotion and identity that go unspoken, rendered as an intricate topography of the gaps between what can be said. It comes from an artist best known in the AI community for building and training their own diffusion models rather than relying solely on off-the-shelf tools.
