Paradise Lost is a 500-piece anime-style cyberpunk graphic novel told across five acts and some twenty chapters, with every token a frame in a single continuous story. Set in a bustling city where tradition and technology intertwine, it follows a brilliant young inventor whose discovery upends his world, probing the line between humanity empowered by technology and humanity enslaved by it. Ren developed the script with ChatGPT, using it to brainstorm scenarios, events, and cliffhangers from an original premise. The chief technical challenge was continuity: keeping characters and locations recognizable as their appearance and behavior evolve, which Ren solved through prompting and image editing. The story was later issued as a printed graphic novel through Blurb.
