DreamScapes by Xander Steenbrugge — 500 AI artworks

DreamScapesBy Xander Steenbrugge · 500 works · released 2021-12-10DreamScapes is a set of 500 imagined dreamworlds produced with a heavily customized VQGAN+CLIP pipeline. In that technique, a language-image model (CLIP) steers an image generator (VQGAN) toward a text description. Xander Steenbrugge has said he spent months refining his text prompts to reach a consistent and personal aesthetic, turning prompt engineering into a matter of artistic style. The collection appeared in December 2021, at the height of the VQGAN+CLIP era. Around the same time, Steenbrugge used a related pipeline with added depth estimation and 3D camera moves for Max Cooper's music video 'Exotic Contents'.
