Vadim Epstein is a digital artist, director, coder, educator, and VJ who has been making multimedia art since 1996; trained in theoretical physics and self-taught in computer science, he worked for years with vvvv, custom shaders, and live GAN processing before turning to CLIP-based methods. He is the author of Aphantasia, an open-source suite of CLIP-driven text-to-image and text-to-video tools that generate imagery without a GAN, widely used during the early text-to-image era. COH is the project of Ivan Pavlov, a Sweden-based sound engineer and electronic musician released on Raster-Noton, whose collaborations include Vox Tinnitus with members of the British group Coil.
