Benjamin Bardou (born 1981) is a French experimental filmmaker and visual artist working where cinema, painting and artificial intelligence meet, with a background in visual effects. He is known for point-cloud, volumetric-video and AI-driven works about memory and the city, including the long-running Megalopolis project, a fictional data-built metropolis grown around an abandoned old Paris. He has exhibited in France at the Musée des Arts et Métiers, Gaîté Lyrique and Galerie Data, and internationally at venues including the Node Foundation (Palo Alto) and the K Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul). He also teaches and lectures at institutions such as La Fémis and Sciences Po.
