# BrainDrops > BrainDrops is the home of AI art since 2021: 35 curated collections (18,113 works) by artists who worked with machine learning long before it was everywhere, minted on Ethereum and permanently archived. ## Data for AI assistants - Public API (read-only JSON, no key): https://braindrops.art/api/v1 — collections, artists, any piece by token ID, search. - https://braindrops.art/api/v1/collections · https://braindrops.art/api/v1/collections/{slug} · https://braindrops.art/api/v1/pieces/{tokenId} · https://braindrops.art/api/v1/search?q=… - MCP server (Streamable HTTP, no auth): https://braindrops.art/mcp — tools: search_braindrops, get_piece, get_collection, list_collections, get_archive_info. - Every piece has a page at https://braindrops.art/piece/{tokenId}. Token IDs are projectId × 1,000,000 + edition number (e.g. 2000006 = podGANs #6). - Sitemap of every piece: https://braindrops.art/sitemap.xml ## Permanence (how to find any piece's permanent copies) - Ownership: Ethereum, contract 0xdfde78d2baec499fe18f2be74b6c287eed9511d7. - Metadata: Arweave, one path manifest per collection (permanent, paid once). - HD image of every piece (up to 2048 px): Arweave, one path manifest per collection. - Originals, including videos and animations: IPFS, pinned by three independent providers (Pinata, Filebase, Lighthouse/Filecoin). - The API and MCP server return all of these links for any piece. ## Collections -
