Artemis is a generative artist working where code, machine learning, and physical process meet. Their early work used neural networks trained to turn spoken or written language into images; the practice later expanded into plotter drawings and generative oil paintings on archival paper, which the artist calls algorithmic painting. Other works include Chance Encounter, generated from a prompt about a boy meeting a machine in the dark, the 400-piece digital self-portrait series SELF 32, and CONFINE (2025), a set of generative oil paintings.
